 s and diaries of the last 10 ye
 ars.

 The interior of the dust jacket
  functions as a schematic table
  of contents. It is an overview
  of the artist's journals, spre
 ad out over a surface. Black bo
 xes have been drawn over the ph
 otograph to indicate the overla
 pping sections of journals that
  are shown within the book. The
  page number is indicated in th
 e black box indexing the image
 to an open-faced spread inside
 the book.

 The design of the book contains
  a centered image on each open-
 faced double page, and neighbou
 ring journals on the periphery.
  This allows the reader to make
  new connections and cross-refe
 rences between the artist's dif
 ferent pieces as he or she navi
 gates through the "bookscape".

 'Innig papier' begins with all
  the journals closed and progr
 essively reveals the contents
 inside of them. It is a proces
 s that leads the reader, step
 by step, to the artist.
